And they were provided with a venue for sharing of effective pedagogical practices through professional learning communities.

The team of trainors and facilitators were composed of Dr. Salvacion Espanola, Ma. Fe Gonzales, Celia M. Blanca, GEmma T. Fieldad, Kenny Love Salgado, Esperanza E. Posadas, Farida S. Sia, Monina C. Tambasen, Sherlyne G. Latido, Salvacion E. Torres, Analee G. Savillo, Erlinda P. Sauce, and Univa S. David.

Training Coverage

These teachers were trained on the K to 12 basic education program, on the curriculum on language arts, MTB-MLE, ESP, Child Development/learning theories/principles, and demo-teaching on the basic subject areas like Filipino, Math, Araling Panlipunan, Music, Arts, Physical Education, Health, MTB-MLE and critiquing.

While the entire schools in the division was observing the Brigada Eskwela for the whole week from May 20 to May 26, these teachers were busy with their training. K to 12 education measure has been approved by the PH President Noynoy Aquino.

  1. I think President Aquino has done a good job in implementing the K-12 Curriculum now. We cannot solve the education problems in the Philippines now (or probably in the next decade), and I think it is only this country that has a K-10 Basic education.
